However, we will be back and stronger than ever for CSW Expo 2021, scheduled for June 12-19, 2021. Registration will begin in early 2021. Read the official cancellation announcement John Kranz | Post a Comment | Share Article Friday Mar 27 2020 CSW Expo Date Change Notification Friday, March 27, 2020 at 09:35AM We have just sent out notifications to all registered attendees that the date for CSW Expo has changed to August 15-22, 2020 . I'm pleased to report that very few cancellation requests have been made (only 3% thus far); nearly all attendees remain committed on attending as we hope to see the situation improves regarding COVID-19. We are now a full 140 days out from the start date, so hopefully that buys us the necessary time for things to improve with public health concerns being mitigated. We are all in this together and hoping for the best as we look forward to CSW Expo 2020. Read our official date change announcement here John Kranz | Post a Comment | Share Article Monday Mar 23 2020 Expo date change: Aug 15-22, 2020 Monday, March 23, 2020 at 09:45PM Due to the COVID-19 outbreak and projections of limits to travel and social gatherings, we have officially moved the Expo date to August 15-22, 2020 (with early evening set-up starting Fri, Aug 14). We understand changes to travel arrangements can be a major burden, so we hope you understand we (along with the Tempe Missions Palms hotel) felt this was our only viable option to not cancel the event for 2020. We are hoping you can all reschedule and remain committed to joining us in August to celebrate our 20th Anniversary. We will be sending an email in the next 36 hours to all registered attendees to notify of them of this date change, along with details on contacting the hotel directly to change the dates for your overnight room booking. For those unable to attend in August who have already paid, you can either roll-over your payment for a future Expo event (Tempe or Dallas), or we will issue you a full refund. We apologize again for this venue change but we are feeling confident the situation may be much improved by August so we can still come together this year to celebrate our hobby together! John Kranz | Post a Comment | Share Article Monday Jan 20 2020 Special Game Auction Item Monday, January 20, 2020 at 04:33PM We will have a very special game auction item offered during CSW Expo 2020. Kai Jensen recently contacted me and will be attending CSW Expo. She is looking forward to seeing all her friends again. As many of you know, her spouse, Chad Jensen, lost his courageous battle against cancer. It is a huge loss for the gaming community, not to mention amongst family and countless friends Chad and Kai have made over the years. Kai will be bringing Chad's complete and comprehensive ASL Collection to CSW Expo and offer it up for auction. Kai wishes to honor Chad's request that as many of his games get put back into circulation so they may be enjoyed by others. This will be a huge lot of goods, an entire ASL collection with extras, mounted maps, all modules, expansions, games, etc. and countless materials organized in various ways (such as the plastic locking counter trays). Kai has packaged everything up already and this "instant" ASL collection fills 4 large storage tubs! I'm confident that we will find a good home for Chad's ASL collection -- and Kai is happy to see it go to someone who loves ASL or wants to instantly own the entire collection. She's not worried about how much it goes for, this is something she is doing for Chad. I hope you will consider making a bid for this special lot during our Friday night auction during our 20th Anniversary Event. And, of course, we are most excited of all to welcome Kai back to the expo! Please keep in mind that if you register for the Full Expo event and submit your online payment ($100) by end of January 2020, you will receive your Expo shirt for FREE! We will be providing initial game sign-ups later this week as well. Expect to see registration activity to increase quickly once we officially announce the event is now open for online registration in the coming days as we celebrate our 20th Anniversary Event!
